Be part of the unique athletics event! Next summer, 21-24 July, Tallinn will host the European Athletics Junior Championships. Come and be part of one of the world's biggest athletics event and give your contribution to this unique spectacle by assisting the organising team in various roles.

The efforts of involved and enthusiastic volunteers with high level of motivation play a significant role in the success of the event. Volunteers make the greatest impression onto athletes, spectators, and the media who participate in this event. In return for the contribution, the volunteers will receive a unique experience; make new friends and contacts and also exclusive competition uniforms.

We are looking for volunteers in the following fields: competition, accreditation, hotels-accommodation, transport services, marketing and promotion, medicine and doping control, protocol and ceremonies, and media services.

Ideally, volunteers should be more than 18-years of age and those interested can get detailed information and register on the website www.tallinn2011.org. The volunteer recruitment campaign will conclude by the end of January 2011.

European Junior Championships volunteer program opening in August

Estonian Athletic Association will open the volunteer program for the European Athletic Junior Championships on 18 August. Altogether 200 volunteers will be recruited from all over Europe who will help to organise one of the world's biggest athletic events held in the capital of Estonia on 21-24 July 2011.

The General Coordinator of the Estonian Athletic Association stated that becoming a volunteer at the European Athletic Junior Championships is an excellent opportunity to gain unique experience and be part of one of the biggest sports events ever organised in Estonia. "In addition to broadening one's horizon, it is a great way to meet people from different cultures, make new contacts and friends," the general coordinator added.
